Happy Independence Day! This is going to be a short post because we’re actually on our way to the beach as I’m typing this, however I made a tasty dessert last night that I have to share.
This folks, is a healthy berry cobbler and it tastes delicious!
It’s grain-free with no added sugar, only includes the healthy fat of coconut oil and almonds. I can’t take credit for coming up with this gem of recipe as I pretty much followed this Paleo Blackberry Cobbler from Everyday Paleo. The only things I did differently:
- ¼ cup old fashioned oats
- ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- ½ scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
- ¼-1/2 cup serving of leftover Berry Cobbler, for the topping
