Mom's One-Skillet Sausage and Rice Recipe

Easy, 30-minute, one-skillet meal with smoked turkey sausage, fluffy white rice and flavorful veggies

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 package (14-ounces) Skinless Smoked Turkey Sausage, cut into ½-inch slices
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-1/2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 2 cups Minute® White Rice (you can also use Brown Rice)
  • fresh parsley, for garnish
