Muffins are perfectly proportioned baked treats. Just the right size for a quick breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a sweet treat after dinner. However, not all muffins are created equal!
In my pre-real food days, I was a low-fat, whole grains kinda girl. I read labels and bought the “healthy” options. But for some reason, I didn’t think twice about adding a cup of sugar or canola oil to a batch of muffins. I think I just figured it was an occasional treat, so it didn’t really matter as long as it was LOW FAT!
