Peanut Butter-Banana Bread

I love Banana bread and this one is certainly different from others I've used. The peanut butter comes by way of a frosting for the top of the bread, which is very yummy. Allow the bread to stand overnight before frosting for best results. For the variation of banana bread with walnuts and no frosting add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts to the batter before baking. This recipe came from

Bourbon Chicken

I saw this recipe and thought I would give it a try. I haven't tried very many Chinese dishes. This is a copycat recipe of Bourbon  Chicken from a Chinese restaurant but there is no bourbon in this dish. It is best served over white rice. I would make this again but for those of you who watch your sodium intake I would suggest using a lighter sodium  soy sauce in the sauce.

Pumpkin Pie ( Libby's Famous)

This was the first pumpkin pie I ever made and my favorite still today. It tastes very good made fresh. I remember my father-n-law telling me how good it was. He wasn't suppose to eat anything sweet but naturally he did have a piece of it. I'm sure many people already have this recipe but I thought I would add it to my recipes here at Pat's Pink Apron. You will need: 3/4 cup sugar

Light Wassail

A wassailing, a wassailing, a wassailing we go... Here is a light tasting wassail I found from Farmers Almanac a very long time ago. It has been pretty popular. Yield 10 to 12 servings. I seem to be on a wassail kick lately. This is another recipe of wassail made on top of the stove in a very tall sauce pot. Once it comes to a boil you can transfer this to a crockpot to keep warm
