Although it is a no knead bread, but it’s light and delicious. You can brag in front of your friends and family and present a classy looking loaf of bread that go perfect with butter, or dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. I can go on and on talking [...]
Since I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world, my need for sugar rushes the moment I open my eyes. Would you imagine having chocolate cake in the morning? Noway, you said? Maybe you should think again Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have desserts for breakfast everyday, just those very crazy weekends, when [...]
When I started food blogging, I knew I needed to attach a photo of my creation to get people interested in what I’m offering. At that time, I had a point and shoot Sony camera (Sony Cybershot DSCW50 6MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom.) I wasn’t aware of how to take a proper food [...]
Today is one of those lazy days. I don’t cook but concentrate on my studies. However, I woke up craving nothing fancy but simple, plain vanilla muffins. So, do I have much to say about these muffins? Well, only that they’re addictive, moist, and I’m craving it badly Print Vanilla Muffins Recipe type: Dessert and breakfast [...]
Caramel. You can sense comfort by just pronouncing the word. Today I’m sharing a very simple and delicious recipe for caramel sauce. You can use it on your pancakes, pies, ice cream, milkshake, and to be honest I personally love to pour some while hot on vanilla or coffee cake, but that’s just me. Some [...]

I know that I don’t have many vegetarian dishes on my blog, and this actually reflects who I am, I am a person with a huge sweet tooth and great love for meat. However, today I’ve decided to do something green, not particularly in color but a healthy and easy to cook dish. When I [...]
In an older post I have shared a recipe for making ricotta cheese. Paneer or some call it Indian Cottage Cheese, tastes almost the same as ricotta. It is a straightforward recipe, and hardly takes time. However, I believe this cheese holds better than ricotta, Ricotta cheese is softer in texture than Paneer, only because [...]
Weekdays are not the time for me to indulge in fancy breakfast. I’m either rushing to reach somewhere, or got something to do in the house and that alone suppresses appetite. However, weekends are different, and I have promised myself to give me, a me time at least on weekends. Being a mom is a [...]
Two years of food blogging have passed, but it seems as if I’ve been blogging for ages, so yes, you can say that I’m still new When I started blogging my audience were few, I’d say 4 visitors per day! In the past two years, I was introduced to new recipes, ingredients, and learnt more [...]
I’m not sure if this dish is from Lebanon or Syria, so let’s just say it’s an Arabian delight. Okra is a vegetable which some people feel uncomfortable having, for it’s texture after it’s cooked. If you are one of them, then you can use potato, white beans, and black eyed beans, in fact I’ve [...]
These cookies are prepared and baked in no time. If you have all the ingredients ready and your oven is preheated, Mixing the ingredients will take 5 minutes and baking them will take 11 to 12 minutes, see what I mean? While baking, the smell of freshness will fill your house, and when the cookies [...]
Hey Guys! You probably know by now (if you’re following me) that I’m taking Internet marketing course. My project this time is to communicate with few blog and website owners, evaluate their blog/website, and try to find a solution for the problem they are facing, concerning traffic and making money online. Therefore, yes I’ll be [...]
As much as I like to travel, I know I can’t fly to every place I want. My kitchen is my lab and at times I look at it as an airport, from where I travel using my stove, food, and recipes. Every time I discover a new recipe from a different country, I get [...]
These pancakes are fluffy and light, biting on them is like biting on a cloud. It’s similar to soufflé pancakes. Orange zest adds strong taste and aroma to these little beauties, and folding in egg whites to the batter, gave these pancakes that fluff and feather like lightness. Today I wanted my breakfast [...]
Another Persian delight. This dish can be served with steamed rice or any type of bread. Aubergine could be one vegetable with minimal health benefit, yet it is one of my favorite vegetables, since when deep-fried, it becomes sweet with creamy texture. If you took out the beef, this dish will turn into a rich [...]
I couldn’t help but to try out these Brownie cupcakes, I saw them at Butter Baking and just one look at those clicks, and zoooom I ran to the kitchen and started making them. Absolutely delightful and chocolaty cupcakes, I have enjoyed them so much and my family did too. It’s just like having rich [...]
What I like about this curry is the flavor of coconut milk and its creamy texture. It might be too spicy for some, but you can easily adjust that. This recipe require you to cut the lamb in cubes, however I think adding a bone or two will add more flavor to this curry. [...]
If you don’t know what Rasgullas are, then let me add to your knowledge, they’re cheese balls! I’m not kidding. These Rasgullas are made from Paneer, which is actually Ricotta Cheese. When I was a kid I used to think that this dessert is made from egg whites, since it’s so white. I wasn’t so [...]
What can I say about this Persian appetizer? The first time I tried it was at a Persian restaurant of course, I’m fond of caramelized fruits and vegetables, in a way I find it amazing how sweet it turns and how its taste totally transforms. It’s only natural that I fall in love with this [...]
When I was a kid, my mom used to bring home packed cream caramel, which I enjoyed a lot. That was, until I tasted the real deal and "BAM!" I was an instant convert. Getting the right recipe was a mission on its own (no internet then). The accidents and disastrous results I have experienced while attempting to make this dessert were indescribable.
Love-hate relationship is what I share with summer! But I'm not going to list its negative aspects here since we all experience them just the same, instead, I will share the romantic part of our relationship. Summer is when I spend more time experimenting and developing recipes in my humble kitchen, and have more time to sharpen my skills (photography, editing, reading …etc).
Congratulations Jena! Parmesan-AsiagoDip is the perfect blend of flavors to compliment raw vegetables, breads, & crackers. Luqaimat - ?????? - is a well-known dessert between Arabs. Egyptians, Lebanese, Syrian, and Jordanians call it Luqmat al Kadhi - ???? ?????? - and they make it in a complete different way than Gulf countries, although they all look the same. Some recipes ask for yogurt, others for baking powder and milk, Arabian Gulf countries use flour, dry yeast, saffron, and cardamom only.
Inspiration comes from different places, and at times, it comes from within. This might sound crazy to you, but my inspiration today came from a jar. I've received Olive Red Bell Pepper Spread from Penna, and I couldn't believe how a spread can taste so good. The olives and olive oil are rich and of high quality, the combination of spices was amazing, and the red bell peppe

Summer! One month is like a year, no matter how much I try to defeat its heat, I mostly fail. When I leave the house, even if I ran to my car, still can't escape the powerful slap of the heat. I can use Ice-Cream to cool down my burning soul on those awful awful days, when the temperature is so stubborn and won't stop rising, but then something else will rise, my weight! So
It's moist, healthy, delicious, full of flavor, and not time consuming when prepared. In my house we tend to go for cupcakes more than baking cake in cake pans, it got nothing to do with weight control, as much as controlling who eats more than the rest! Cupcakes looks cute and are baked in no time too. Roasted cashews and cinnamon together, created a heavenly flavor. This recipe

Pancakes are the most delicious and easy to make breakfast. I try to add new flavors just to break the routine, but pancakes adopts the flavors just like how cakes do. This time I made my pancakes with lemon and lemon syrup, I've tried to keep the taste of lemon mild since it's in both pancake and syrup. of course you can always add more lemon in the syrup if you fancy it extra lem
I read a book called Hellbound, it's fiction and a wonderful read, I'm not saying this because my sister wrote it, but because I was able to understand the actions of the characters in this book, and thanks to God I did not feel their pain, anyways, after reading the book I was inspired to make something new, something sinful, and I didn't have to go out of the house, but went straight t
It's boiling here! The temperature is high and as every summer my brain starts to sizzle if I to spend more than a minute out in the sun. I was looking forward to taking some pictures since I got a new camera on my Birthday,YEAY! But can't take pictures outside, instead I thought since it's really hot and I needed to see how well the new camera captures colors, I decided to make somethi
Eating healthy can be boring, I mean no butter and steamed vegetables etc, but I found a way to eat my vegetables and actually enjoy them. The best way -In my opinion- to eat vegetables if cooked in yummy sauce, I don't mind them in stews or in Chinese food, I even have them with white sauce at times. Ok, this might not always sound healthy but hey I try my best. This sauce is mild

This recipe was featured in MunatyCooking Magazine April 2012 issue. These scones tastes richer and more delicious than the normal scones since evaporated milk is used. Just like normal scones it is done in no time. One day I was out of milk and was craving scones so I grabbed an evaporated milk can and used it, I had to tweak the recipe a bit but the outcome was OH SO GOOD!
Searching for a delicious marble cake I came across this recipe at Martha Stewart's, it tastes really good as it is, but I made few changes that would be more to my family's taste. It's very easy to make and looks absolutely beautiful, I tried it with chocolate glaze and white frosting it's a winner every time. I'm thinking of adding a third color next time I bake it, probably red. S

While searching the internet for chicken stew I came a cross a picture of Doro Wot, I knew I had to try it. Where I live, there are no restaurants (or at least to my knowledge) where they serve African food. I have cooked a Nigerian dish called Jellof Rice, and tasted amazing. Of course there are spices used in African food which are not available where I am, still I try to manage with what
