Crock-Pot Favorite Creamy Dressing Chicken Bake

Sometimes you really just need an easy recipe that you can put on the dinner table that does not require a lot of fuss. Our goal here at Crock-Pot Ladies is to always share recipes that use easy to find ingredients. We figure, that if we can purchase the ingredients at our local run-of-the-mill grocery stores most of our readers can too.

This recipe is fun, easy and versatile. You can use whatever your favorite bottle of creamy salad dressing to flavor your chicken. Meaning you can do this recipe in so many different ways. Whether it is ranch, blue cheese, thousand island, creamy poppy seed or Caesar salad dressing…any of them will work great.

In this particular recipe I chose a a bottle of Kraft creamy Italian salad dressing. The dressing really helps make the chicken moist and flavorful and using your favorite flavor means you can choose one that works for your family.

As the chicken cooks the salad dressing blends down into the potatoes as well giving them a delicious flavor too.

As is, this recipe can be served as a complete meal or you can serve your favorite veggies as a side dish.

Because as you all know versatility is my middle name…feel free to substitute asparagus, fresh green beans, cauliflower or other veggies for the chopped tomatoes in this recipe..or mix it up and use a mixture of whatever veggies you like!

And because my family and I are trying to eat lower carb I used Cello Whisps Parmesan Cheese Crisps that I crushed up instead of traditional bread crumbs. This recipe is not sponsored by Cello or anything like that, this is just a product I really love and like to use in place of bread crumbs because they are gluten and wheat free. If you are on a gluten free diet there are several options that you can use in this recipe including some delicious gluten free salad dressings that are out there on the market. If your not on any sort of special diet…use regular bread crumbs.

16 ounces bottled creamy salad dressing whatever your favorite flavor or brand is...blue cheese, ranch. Italian, Caesar, poppy seed, thousand island, etc.

2 large russet potatoes

2 medium onions diced small

1 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shredded

1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan Whisps crushed OR bread crumbs

1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
