Blue Cheese Burgers

Blue Cheese Burgers

Summertime means a whole lotta grilling, and today’s recipe is all about blue cheese burgers! You can use either ground beef or turkey for this recipe, but since my wife doesn’t eat red meat, we decided to use ground turkey. And to make it a little more fun, we made mini burgers for some awesome turkey sliders! To make this recipe for blue cheese burgers, you’ll first need to make a batch of jalapeño jam, which serves as the topping and main condiment. We also top these burgers with a bit of melted blue cheese, which tastes really awesome with the jalapeño jam. This recipe was inspired by the Blues Burgers at Pacific Blues Cafe in Yountville. It’s an awesome little restaurant, and definitely worth checking out when you’re up in Napa Valley! Serve this with a Zinfandel wine or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Enjoy!!
