Three ingredients mixed today and....booyah! Buttery, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.  Great with breakfast, lunch, dinner, soup, salad, or just little snacks.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BaQem29CoAE/VLbfBX3IAsI/AAAAAAAABJA/VglgBW4QwLw/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit%2Byum.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BaQem29CoAE/VLbfBX3IAsI/AAAAAAAABJA/VglgBW4QwLw/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit%2Byum.JPG" //a/divbr /Cuz you can't help snacking on one each time you walk through the kitchen. They just pop into your mouth so easily you could almost swear they jumped in on their own.br /br /So why haven't I told you about them before? Well, I dunno. I mean, I didn't realize until recently that I hadn't.br /br /You see, it all started with my recent trip to Bama where I spent the holidays with my family. We celebrated my birthday, the new year, and had just good family fun.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cwHXdMOY9kE/VLbe47rU0I/AAAAAAAABJQ/h8y8xBKeod8/s1600/birthday%2Bparty.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cwHXdMOY9kE/VLbe47rU0I/AAAAAAAABJQ/h8y8xBKeod8/s1600/birthday%2Bparty.JPG" width="640" //a/divOf course we ate tons of great food. What would New Years Day be without some good traditional southern grub.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NeF2xzW1Qxw/VLbfAgpaLI/AAAAAAAABJI/ysBr2WwUlU/s1600/new%2Byears%2Bday%2Bmeal.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NeF2xzW1Qxw/VLbfAgpaLI/AAAAAAAABJI/ysBr2WwUlU/s1600/new%2Byears%2Bday%2Bmeal.JPG" //a/divbr /br /Even though we had some really cold winter nights, we fired up the grill and made some amazing 1/2 lb stuffed burgers! Wrap your teeth around that beauty!br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-k4Ka61fv6s/VLbfCGF90TI/AAAAAAAABI0/lfC0jIZioEE/s1600/stuffed%2Bburger.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-k4Ka61fv6s/VLbfCGF90TI/AAAAAAAABI0/lfC0jIZioEE/s1600/stuffed%2Bburger.JPG" //a/divbr /Btw, do you know how cold it gets there?! I know, I know...compared to most other regions of the country, it's not that bad. But this SoCal gal's blood is used to warmer climes. I mean....winter here means that it's below 75' most of the time. Or just some of time. And it rarely get's below 40, let alone freezing. My family was amazed that if the temps are going to be below freezing, we actually get a frost warning.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-csPEbd1gr8M/VLbep_KMEI/AAAAAAAABIE/iB8iIeEQVWU/s1600/frost.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-csPEbd1gr8M/VLbepKMEI/AAAAAAAABIE/iB8iIeEQVWU/s1600/frost.JPG" //a/divbr /For the first time in my life, I experienced single digit temps. Crazy stuff I tell ya!br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UAi9BeJLz3Q/VLbfATgxtuI/AAAAAAAABJM/ez6qgkQxvW4/s1600/ice%2Bby%2Bthe%2Blake.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UAi9BeJLz3Q/VLbfATgxtuI/AAAAAAAABJM/ez6qgkQxvW4/s1600/ice%2Bby%2Bthe%2Blake.JPG" //a/divbr /Anyway, it was while I was in Bama that I realized I had never shared  these yummy little crunchy-and-soft at the same time biscuits with you. My sister made them to go with dinner one night and that's when it hit me.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UbOHVkwwQCA/VLbfBooIPpI/AAAAAAAABI8/GmJy64h-DAI/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UbOHVkwwQCA/VLbfBooIPpI/AAAAAAAABI8/GmJy64h-DAI/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit.JPG" //a/divbr /Even my daughter was surprised. When I told her I was making them today, she asked why. I had to confess my wrong doing out loud and this was her response:br /br /"You've never put them on your blog?! Oh wow!! You need to do that...They're sooooo good!! People need to know about them"br /br /Now that I'm back home, experiencing a much warmer type of winter, I can make a wrong right and let the whole world know what they've been missing.br /h3Sour Cream Biscuits/h3Makes 24 mini biscuitsbr /a href="http://www.bakespace.com/recipes/print/Sour-Cream-Biscuits/3204/" target="blank"Printable Version/abr /br /1 cup self rising flourbr /1 cup sour creambr /1/2 cup butter, softenedbr /br /Preheat oven to 375' Fbr /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z3VN1bPA7Qo/VLbfBDacLvI/AAAAAAAABJE/MlrCu2NNQaA/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit%2Bmix.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z3VN1bPA7Qo/VLbfBDacLvI/AAAAAAAABJE/MlrCu2NNQaA/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit%2Bmix.JPG" //a/divbr /Spray the mini muffin pans with non-stick cooking spray.br /br /Mix all ingredients until well combined.br /br /Divide the dough into the muffin pans.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aRLORpqIbH0/VLbfA3zupgI/AAAAAAAABIc/VErFJ8D48ic/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit%2Bdough.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-aRLORpqIbH0/VLbfA3zupgI/AAAAAAAABIc/VErFJ8D48ic/s1600/sour%2Bcream%2Bbiscuit%2Bdough.JPG" //a/divbr /Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.br /br /And that's it.
