Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cups small pasta (like small shells or elbow macaroni)
  • 12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 strips of bacon, cooked until crispy and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
