  • 1 envelope active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 3/4 cups warm water
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 3 quarts of water
  • 2/3 cup baking soda
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sea salt
