I’ve never been a breakfast smoothie person. Even though they’re full of great ingredients, they aren’t filling enough.
That’s why I add fiber-rich carbohydrates to my morning smoothie.
Basically, I add a frozen multigrain waffle to the blender along with the yogurt, fruit and spinach. It fills me up and keeps me full until lunchtime. It’s so much better than snacking throughout the morning.
- 1 frozen multigrain waffle
- 1/2 cup Stonyfield Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 cup supergreen lettuce mix
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
