Did you know you could make iced tea in your refrigerator? There’s no need to turn on the heat, the tea cold brews while it sits. I like making refrigerator tea for iced tea in the summer. I put a jar of filtered water and tea bags in the refrigerator in the morning and I have fresh brewed iced tea waiting for me in the afternoon. I pour it over a glass full of ice, lemon slices and fresh mint from the garden. Sitting in the shade enjoying a glass of iced tea with lemon and mint is a little slice of heaven on a hot summer day.
- 6 cups filtered water
- 6 good quality tea bags (I used English Teatime and Earl Grey )
- lemon slices
- fresh mint sprigs
- ice cubes
