Easy pumpkin donuts
CakewhizEasy pumpkin donuts
Up until two years ago, I WASN’T too fond of using pumpkin in my baking.
But then, my friend made these pumpkin donuts for me and I was surprised by how good they tasted!
Honest to goodness, they were the most DELICIOUS donuts I have ever eaten and the COOLEST thing was that she made them using a DOCTORED cake mix recipe.
For some reason, I was CRAVING them yesterday… Maybe it’s coz Fall is right around the corner
These donuts are EASY to make with just THREE ingredients:
1)Yellow cake mix box
2)Spices
3) A can of pumpkin puree
I JAZZED them up by first glazing them and then topping them off with melted dark chocolate and caramelized popcorn.
These donuts are SOFT and CAKE-LIKE.
They have a spicy CINNAMON flavor, which is perfect for this time of the year.
The caramelized popcorns add a nice CRUNCH and pouring chocolate on anything is NEVER a bad idea…lol
