Mixed Berry Nutella Brownies

Sweet blueberries and tart raspberries baked into a chocolate Nutella brownie filled with melted chocolate chips for an extra double dosed hit of chocolate. **Weight Watchers:** 4pp per brownie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup light/reduced fat butter (or coconut oil), melted
  • ⅔ cup (150 grams) light brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup natural sweetener or sugar of choice
  • 2 x-large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut extract (optional -- I use this brand )
  • ½ cup Nutella, warmed for 30 seconds in the microwave or over stove top (or Hazelnut Cacao Spread mixed with 1 tablespoon warmed milk)
  • ¾ cup flour (I used light spelt flour and plain/all purpose flours both times and both worked out beautifully)
  • ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅓ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
