Banana Split French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, mashed well
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 2 sliced bananas
  • ½ cup sliced strawberries
  • 4 heaping tablespoons low fat vanilla greek yoghurt (or ice cream, mmm)
  • Pure maple syrup or a natural sugar free maple syrup (you can substitute the syrup for a chocolate syrup if you like — or make a ‘cleaner’ version here )
  • 4 dark or milk chocolate squares (I used Lindt 70% Dark Chocolate )
