It’s that time of year! Spring is in the air. Flowers and early spring crops are starting to peek out of the ground (making us smile everytime we pass them). Daylight Savings Time is about to take an hour from our weekend but give us a much welcome spate of longer and longer days. People start to become cheery. We look at all our chunky, shapeless, godforsaken wool sweaters and prepare to bid them adieu (dear lord, I can’t wait.)
As our gardens pick up activity and we get ready to get high on compost (I knew there was another reason!!) The Farm to Table Conference always heralds this auspicious time of the year. This two-day local food, health and sustainability lovefest is one of the city’s most-awaited spring events. I’m so happy to support this conference that showcases local farms, local products, local restaurants, local professionals (local, local, local!) that advocate for a healthy and sustainable food system.
