Sometimes nothing hits the spot like a fresh green smoothie! There are so many green smoothie recipes out there, including many I have posted, that I don’t post them too often. When I get in a phase having one I really love I know I have to share it, even if is something as simple as a Pineapple Mint Protein Smoothie. It is so fresh, refreshing, and calming at the same time! Weather I have it in the morning or afternoon it always hits the spot! While you could omit the protein it really packs a punch and I like to make it with my favorite nutritional protein shake, Vega One, for not only the protein but the vitamins, minerals, and superfoods! Especially a staple on busy on the go days.

Pineapple Mint Protein Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1c water or non dairy milk of choice (I like coconut water or So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk)
  • 1-1 1/2c pineapple chunks, fresh or frozen
  • 1 scoop plain protein powder (used Vega One Natural)
  • 1/2-1c ice
