Since my last trip to South Australia for aTasting Australia event, I have fallen in love with this city and what it has to offer food-wise. I’ve come to the conclusion that Adelaide is a city where food is a labor of love, and they are very proud of it too. I am not kidding, no matter where you go, you will find fresh produce and fine foods at every nook and cranny in every town. Not to mention the whole city is surrounded by wine regions – a short 20 minutes drive east of Adelaide will find yourself in the Adelaide Hills, a fine food Mecca; an hour north east will hit the world renowned wine region, the Barossa Valley. And for those who are up for a road trip down south to the coast, you will find the hidden gem Coonawarra. I can’t help but be green with envy, in fact – jealous; South Australian are seriously spoiled for choice.
